Hand designed sewing projects and patterns for every skill level.

We are two sisters based on the south coast of England who decided to
collaborate creatively in 2019. A company named Sew Cosy Patterns was formed!

We began by designing patterns for a third party subscription service.
Alongside it we designed and made our own products and took them to
local markets, started to sell our products online, and began running sewing workshops.
 

As our business evolved, we changed its name to Taylor and Jenkins. Our focus is on workshops, hand designed sewing products, and an online sewing community for everyone to enjoy - from beginners to long-time sewists.

International Shipping

We only ship within the UK within our website. Please send us an email
at sales@taylorandjenkins.co.uk if you would like to place an
international order. Thank you.

Sustainability

We are a small business and we keep sustainability at the forefront of everything we do.

We use environmentally certified embroidery floss for all our stitchwork
and our fabric is printed by Prinfab, who have a sustainability page here. 

All our packaging is eco-friendly kraft paper or biodegradable plastic postage bags.

We use deadstock fabrics where possible, and nothing but the smallest scraps of fabric get thrown away.

We donate anything useful that we no longer need to local creative groups or scrapstores.

Ethics

We buy recycled fabrics, and otherwise opt for natural linens or cottons. No animal products are included in our kits, with the exception of deadstock recycled felt that backs our embroideries.

We work hard to source anything we do not make ourselves from ethical providers.

For class materials, we support independent fabric stores.

AI

We do not use generative AI. We illustrate and design our products ourselves with care. We write all our own content and copy.
